TB Nurse Case Management Courses

TB Nurse Case Management Level 1

Format:  Virtual and In-Person options available

Time Allocation:  The total time allocation for the course is 14 hours. This course can be delivered as a 2-day in-person course or as a virtual 4-week course consisting of four 2-hour class sessions along with approximately 60-90 minutes of self-study tasks to complete each week.  

Pre-requisite:  Learners should have a fundamental understanding of tuberculosis, including TB transmission and pathogenesis. 

Description: This course equips nurses new to TB case management with a strong foundational understanding of the principles, practices, and responsibilities necessary to effectively manage patients with tuberculosis. By building essential knowledge and skills, participants will gain the confidence and competence to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care that supports optimal treatment outcomes and public health goals. 

Target Audience: Nurses and TB case managers who are newer to TB case management.
