Description
This webinar reviews the updated CDC Tuberculosis Technical Instructions for Civil Surgeons, focusing on screening, diagnosing, and referring applicants with infectious TB. Key updates and procedural guidance will be highlighted to support compliance with CDC requirements.
Target Audience
This series is targeted to allied health professionals, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, residents/fellows, and civil surgeons as well as advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health staff who help support civil surgeons and status adjusters.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize civil surgeons’ responsibilities in TB screening and referral
- Perform proper procedures for screening, diagnosing, and referring infectious TB cases
- Apply CDC reporting and follow-up requirements
