This webinar provides an overview of the CDC Tuberculosis Technical Instructions for Civil Surgeons, including requirements for TB screening, diagnosis, and referral. Participants will learn about key procedures and clinical considerations to support consistent implementation and compliance with CDC requirements.
Target Audience
This series is targeted to allied health professionals, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, residents/fellows, and civil surgeons as well as advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health staff who help support civil surgeons and status adjusters.
Learning Objectives
- Apply current CDC requirements to appropriately screen, diagnose, and classify applicants for TB
- Identify required referral actions and documentation to ensure compliance with CDC guidelines
