Course Description

This course focuses on the role of Civil Surgeons in implementing steps and procedures involved in screening individuals for tuberculosis. Participants examine the TB screening and referral process, identify symptoms of active TB, discuss TB classifications, and gain insights into the specific considerations for individuals with HIV.

Target Audience

This series is targeted to allied health professionals, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, residents/fellows, and civil surgeons as well as advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health staff who help support civil surgeons and status adjusters.
